We are currently selectively interviewing for an experienced hands-on Regional Sales Manager for the EMEA geographical region with primary daily focus on Northern-Europe and Middle East territory with specific attention on the prime tier one and two video service providers (Telco and Cable) along with Content Providers across this strategic and significant revenue generating region.

Reporting to the VP of EMEA Sales, the Regional Sales Manager Northern-Europe and Middle East is responsible for maintaining, developing and growing revenue from product and services sales within the assigned territory.

This position necessitates both a strategic approach aligning IQ Solutions with the tactical attention to detail to ensure we deliver effectively on current and potential new accounts & projects while in parallel achieving quarterly bookings and revenue objectives. This right candidate will be an experienced, accountable, self-disciplined, high energy, exceptionally transparent and results motivated individual who has thorough knowledge of carrier (Telco & Cable) video business challenges and their strategic growth initiatives so as to attain the efficient delivery of end to end solutions and methodologies spanning both across wireline and wireless distribution video eco system infrastructures.

Primary responsibilities and functions include:

  • Achieving sales quota by managing direct, reseller and system integrator sales within the assigned territory
  • Continued sales pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, campaigns, dealer relationship building, and market sector knowledge
  • Constant in-person meetings to present the technical and business value proposition of the IQ solution to prospective end-users for purchase
  • Work actively with our field based sales engineering team to determine the proper solution fit and configuration required by customers in the service provider and content provider markets
  • Consult with customers and business partners on best practices and workflows associated with IQ solutions and applications
  • Diligently manage and track opportunities in our SalesForce.com CRM for purposes of forecasting/reporting on a regional basis

Required skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years technical complex solutions sales experience in the Telecoms/IP/video market is required
  • Proven record of exceeding sales quota
  • Demonstrable and established strong relationship skills allowing to manage relationships with key decision makers and business thought leaders across the most critical functions of each carrier including Labs, Network Planning & Architecture, Product testing, Procurement, Operations and CTO organizations
  • Must have British Telecom account experience and understand the eco system. Existing and demonstrable relationships with decision makers within British Telecom are essential
  • Applicants should possess an energetic "hunter" sales mentality with a strong desire to develop and close new business while also maximizing revenue growth from our large base of installed users
  • Location: suitable for the Northern European business (ideally UK)
  • Significant travel is required within the assigned territory, US and locations across EMEA
  • Strong business knowledge with complementary skills to understand the customer's and prospects business and technical drivers
  • Knowledge of video product market and application of technology and solutions
  • Management and alignment of distribution partnerships is a plus
  • Must be equally comfortable dealing with senior management as well as mid-level technical staff as part of any client engagement
  • Salesforce.com experience and effective daily use of it mandatory
