This position has responsibility for the processing of all Accounts Payables invoices and approving expense reports.  This is a limited term or temporary position.

 Primary responsibilities and functions include: 

  • Data entry of invoices and approving expense reports
  • Preparing invoices for payment, ensuring their accuracy
  • Communication with receiving to insure receipt of orders
  • Communicating with suppliers and employees to research and resolve problems with invoices or purchase orders, delivery receipts, expense reports, etc.
  • Filing
  • Prepare payables reports
  • Enter payables on system for payment and prepare payables for check run
  • Any other Accounting assignments, as requested 

Required skills, knowledge and abilities:  

  • High school diploma with some college accounting or proven aptitude working with numbers
  • 1-2 Years previous accounts payables experience
  • Computer knowledge; Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word
  • General knowledge of computer based financial systems; knowledge of Syspro, Impact a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional demeanor
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
